Reduced bus services on bank holidays

TIMETABLES for Premiere bus services will be changing over Easter.

A Saturday service will run on Good Friday, April 22, while Easter Sunday and Easter Monday will operate as Sunday services.

For the Royal Wedding on Friday, April 29, all Red services and the X9 will run a Saturday timetable, while NottsBus services, Shoplink, 17, 64, Red 4, Red 7.2 and 7.3 will be a Sunday service.

Bank Holiday Monday, May 2, will be a Sunday service.

There are also some changes to Premiere services from Sunday, May 1.

The Red 1 from Bingham and Radcliffe to Nottingham will see evening buses increased to run every 30 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays. Last buses are now later at five to midnight from Friar Lane, from Monday to Thursday, and 1.45am on Friday and Saturdays.

On Sundays there will now be a new hourly service until 11.15pm.

After requests, there is a new early morning trip leaving Bingham at 5.50am Monday to Friday.

The Red 2 from Cotgrave is also changing from the end of the month. Due to low usage, buses will no longer run to Cropwell Bishop. There is a new late night bus on Friday and Saturday nights leaving Friar Lane at 12.10am.

Premiere managing director Steve Greaves said: "We have built these services up with the fantastic support from our loyal customers."
