Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf is stable after being admitted to a hospital in Cairo.
|||Cairo - Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf was admitted to a hospital in Cairo on Monday suffering from a drop in blood pressure but his condition was stable, security sources said.
Sharaf is in the middle of a cabinet reshuffle demanded by protesters camping in Cairo's Tahrir Square.
The sources said Sharaf was taken to Dar al-Fouad Hospital in Cairo. “His condition is stable,” one source told reporters.
The state's MENA news agency quoted a cabinet spokesperson as saying that Sharaf had undergone medical tests after he left his office on Monday evening “with fatigue after a tough day”. - Reuters
