Chinese Investor Applies for Exemption for Acquisition

Minister of the Interior �gmundur J�nasson confirmed yesterday that he has now received an application from Zhongkun Group, the company of Chinese investor Huang Nubo, for an exemption from the Icelandic law for the acquisition of Gr�msstadir � Fj�llum, a 30,000-hectare (300-square-kilometer) piece of land in northeast Iceland.
