Winter Snow Covers Ground in North Iceland

Akureyri residents in north Iceland woke up to a snow-covered ground this morning; it is the first winter snow to fall on the ground in Iceland this year but snow had already fallen at higher altitudes on mountains in both Akureyri and Reykjav�k.
