Man led to safety after Bulwell flat fire

A MAN was led to safety by firefighters after a blaze at a flat in Bulwell.

Fire engines from Stockwell station were called to the ground floor flat in Bethnal Walk at about 1.50am today.

The flat was severely damaged by fire.

The man was left in the care of paramedics.

Fire crews were at the scene for about 30 minutes.
