Thousands Sign Petition against School Mergers

Almost 4,000 people have signed a petition urging Reykjav�k City Council to drop its plans of merging playschools, elementary schools and after-school centers in the city. Minister of Education Katr�n Jakobsd�ttir will discuss the matter with Mayor J�n Gnarr today.
