Three children rescued from Carlton-in-Lindrick house fire

THREE children were rescued from a house fire last night.

The blaze broke out an house in Carlton-in-Lindrick at about 11.35pm.

Firefighters from Retford and Harworth rescued the children from the property in Canterbury Walk.

They were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Crews were at the scene for around an hour.

An investigation has begun into what started the fire.
