TWO teenagers have been charged with robbing a 73-year-old man at knifepoint for just �3. The teenagers are alleged to have approached the man and threatened him with a knife before taking his loose change. The incident happened as the man walked through Peveril Road, Beeston, at around 10.55pm on Saturday. 14/5 This followed an earlier incident where two 47-year-old men were also approached by two youths in Devonshire Avenue, Beeston, at around 10.35pm. They were also threatened and told to hand over money, but the boys fled empty-handed. No one was hurt in either incident. The teenagers have been charged with two counts of attempted robbery, one count of robbery, and one count of possession of a bladed article. They were released on bail and are due to appear at Nottingham Youth Court on Thursday, May 26.
