WEA courses taking place in Arnold this month

THE charity Workers' Educational Association is offering the following courses in Arnold this month:

Managing conflict creatively with Janet Hills: from Tuesday January 18 for ten weeks, 7pm till 9pm, at the Sherwood Community Centre, Mansfield Road. Fee is �65, concessions available

Tai Chi for beginners with Jason Sewell: from Wednesday, January 26 for ten weeks, 1.15pm till 2.45pm, at Pond Hills Community Centre, Arnold. Fee is �48.75, concessions available

Floristry for beginners: Stage 2 with Rebecca Newell, from Thursday, January 27, for eight weeks, 10am till noon, at the Good Shepherd.

Part-takers will be able to create and take home a floral arrangement each week.

The course does not include cost of materials. Fee is �52, concessions available

Archaeology: Britain in the Ice Age with Matthew Beresford from Monday, January 31m for eight indoor meetings, 7pm till 9pm, at Arnold Library. Includes a full-day visit to Creswell Crags and looks at Ice Age Britain, key archaeological sites, migration patterns and technological change. Fee is �65m, discounts available
