|||The publication of the latest book about Nelson Mandela, by political commentator and author Max du Preez, is under threat after the manuscript was stolen, a report has said.
According to Eyewitness News, Du Preez’s laptop was stolen from his Long Street office, in Cape Town, on Thursday afternoon. He was putting the finishing touches to his book about Madiba, the report said.
His wife, Angela Tuck, said they are offering a reward for the return of the Apple MacBook.
She said her husband is distraught over the loss.
“We are absolutely desperate, this is the third time this has happened to Max on a book deadline. We are willing to offer a reward,” she was quoted as saying. - IOL
