Unusually Large Earthquake Hits Southwest Iceland

reykjanes_psAn earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale hit approximately 2.5 kilometers east-northeast of Grindav�k on Reykjanes peninsula in southwest Iceland at 10:15 pm last night. The area is often hit by earthquakes but they?re usually smaller.
