Music festival returns to town

A LIVE music event is set to return to a town.

The Dirty Dozen All-Dayer will take place at Ye Olde White Lion, in Congleton, on Saturday, April 16, following the success of the inaugural event last year.

Seventeen bands have already been confirmed to play on two stages, including Sweet Winn Dixie, The Harks and Stone Dead Idols.

Landlord Joe Manning said: "We're really looking forward to Dirty Dozen 2011, it should prove to be the best yet. We're really hoping everyone can get behind the event."

Early-bird tickets, at 7, are available from the pub.
