Phil 'The Power' Taylor splits from wife after 23 years

DARTS player Phil Taylor has split from his wife after 23 years of marriage.

The 15-times world champion, from Wychwood Park, near Crewe, confirmed that he and Yvonne have been amicably separated in a statement issued this morning.

The couple, who have four children, said there were no other parties involved.

The statement said: "Yvonne and I have enjoyed many happy years together.

"We've got four lovely children and three beautiful grandchildren, and creating a happy and successful future for them remains our goal."

There will be no further comment made by Phil or Yvonne Taylor relating to this matter.
